ORDERING INFORMATION

Opening Order

To open an account with Nathan Anthony Furniture, the first order must be $4,000, for stocking dealers.  50% of the order must be paid for before we will begin production.  The balance must be paid in full when the order is ready to ship.  All other orders are prepaid once the order is ready to ship.  We accept a company check, cash or Visa, Mastercard and American Express. 


Sales Tools
With your opening order, you will receive our catalog and fabric swatch books.  These materials are on loan to you while you have an active account with Nathan Anthony.  Nathan Anthony reserves the right to, at any time and for any reason, demand that these sales tools be returned to Nathan Anthony or your account will be charged for the full value of the sales tools.

Ordering

All orders must be in written form.  Your order will be produced exactly as it appears on the Sales Order Acknowledgement Form.  Include as much information as possible on your Purchase Order.  We prefer that you use the Nathan Anthony Order Form to ensure that no key information is omitted which could delay your order. 

 

Custom Orders

Custom orders are orders that alter our original design.  There is a 20% upcharge per alteration, per every 6 inches.  To place custom orders, please fax or send drawings, photographs, fabric swatches and descriptions.  When pricing custom orders, it’s the base grade plus any down upgrades multiplied by 20%.  Then you would add any other upgrades like, a fabric upgrade, to the total.  Custom orders take on average 2 - 4 weeks longer than standard orders.  

 

CO.M. Orders

The Nathan Anthony C.O.M. form must be filled out completely and mailed to us before we can process your order.  Make sure to instruct the mill to put your name and Nathan Anthony Sales Order number on the packing slip for our reference.  If no C.O.M. form is submitted with instructions, Nathan Anthony reserves the right to use its best judgment as to the application of the C.O.M. fabric.  Nathan Anthony does not warrant the fitness of C.O.M. fabric. 

 

Lead Times

Generally, it takes 4 – 6 weeks to manufacture our furniture, depending on the fabric selected for the piece(s).  Custom orders and Market orders take from anywhere from 6 – 10 weeks.

 

Rush Orders

Nathan Anthony offers it customers an option to Rush orders.  This depends on availability of materials and the production schedule.  There is a charge for Rush orders.  Rush charges are assessed at the time of the request and can range between 20% to 50%.  Make sure to specify your due date when Rushing an order on your PO.

 

Fabric Combinations

The price of combining fabrics on one piece of furniture will be determined by the highest grade fabric in the mix.  These designs are more labor intensive and a combination of 2 or more fabrics will increase the cost of producing the piece by 10%.

 

Cut Yardage:

Cut yardage orders must be prepaid and shipping arrangement made before the factory will cut the fabric.  Lead time is generally 3 -5 days for in-stock fabric.  Pricing is the grade of the fabric multiplied by 2, i.e., Grade 10 x 2 = 20 per yard.

 

Consolidating Sales Orders:

Can be done if the orders are within 1 week of each other. 

Changes to Sales Orders:

We will accept changes as long as the production schedule permits, generally within 1 week of the order.

Storage

Nathan Anthony does not store pieces after completion.  Arrangements for pickup must be made within 5 days of notification that your order is ready.  After 2 weeks, there will be a 25% deposit required to hold the pieces up to 30 days.  We reserve the right to resell any pieces in which the customer does not place a deposit, which are not picked up, or accepted for shipping within 30 days.


Freight/Delivery

If your order requires a third party freight company, Nathan Anthony may obtain quotes for the estimated cost and time of delivery as a courtesy.  Nathan Anthony is not responsible for the accuracy of freight quotes, nor is it responsible for failed delivery times or extra charges you may incur from the freight company.

You may request cardboard boxing provided you pay an additional cost:
