One of our favorite times of the year is fall High Point Market. It’s a chance to get away from the daily routine of running the factory. It’s also a time to connect with other designers and admire all the beautiful creations that Market has to offer. We are eager to present our new creations and thrilled to get feedback on what resonates. There is a lot of thought, planning and forecasting that goes into what we ultimately design and present. Although we know not everyone is going to love it, we hope everyone will appreciate the superior level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every piece.
A true star and the latest to raise eye brows at market was Evok (below). The Evok collection features a four-piece modular seating configuration, designed with distinct color-blocked layers. Each Evok piece consists of a band of wood between the upholstery zones for extra contrast. There are eight wood finish choices available. The group offers an armless chair, corner unit and two ottomans, which can be combined in a myriad of configurations. Cushions are all the same size, so colors also can be easily mixed and matched. See for yourself…
We also debuted our new Design Studio this market. The Design Studio gave visitors a new way to shop our line, showcasing our entire selection of diverse fabrics, including 80 new solids and 13 new Sunbrella® fabrics, in an easy-to-view display. The Design Studio also featured framed photos of each of our upholstery frames, enabling visitors to see the full range of models that are available, with take-home product cards in delicate gift bags for perusing later.

We also decorated our showroom with wall-mounted product shots from our catalog for customers to view.
The Dover Sectional was a hit! Shown in new cover: Norwich Bisque, Dover featured ample seating space at 42″ depth and a handsome modular line up.
Another introduction this market was the Sabine bed. We took an over head shot to show how the light accentuates the button tufting detail. This photo shows our lead designer Tina Nicole working with Gayla Dycus of Cantoni.

The Haus sofa in new cover: Innis Platinum and a walnut haze finish wood tubular base.
A busy showroom…
Architects and designers discussing all the possible ways to use Nathan Anthony upholstery in their design projects.
The new Blossom chair made buyers feel giddy. Why use 5 yards on a chair when you can use 10! To achieve Blossom’s look, the artisan gathers the fabric by hand to create each pleat along the shape of the chair. Shown in new cover: Gemstone Caribbean and a stainless steel swivel base in polished chrome.
Also well-received and ordered at market were new chairs – Siren (left) in new color Sunset by Ultrasuede and Imagin (right) in cover Cassio Pepper.
