Twice a year we attend High Point’s Showtime Market, the largest dedicated home textiles show in the U.S! We are always looking for innovative ways to expand our designs as well as inspiration with the year’s trending colors, shapes and textures. Showtime has become the pre-eminent upholstery and decorative coverings market in the Western Hemisphere offering the largest selection of textiles, leather and trimmings. Showtime also offers a unique buying opportunity for furniture manufacturers, home textiles manufacturers, fabric and furniture retailers, hospitality, RV, marine, contract, outdoor/casual furniture manufacturers, and more. This year we brought our son, Nathan Anthony who shows up here and there in this post, can you find him?

To highlight our experience at this year’s market, we are sharing what trends were rocking the show!

DENIM TREND

Textile designers at Se7en really delved into a Boho-relaxed vibe with their DENIMOLOGY theme. It felt super groovy to walk their showroom and it was fun to experience their new collections. Blue was an important color everywhere, not just in denimology.

GLOBAL / ASIAN TREND

Intricate patterns and Asian motifs delighted our eyes at Valdese and Circa. The refreshing display of color mixed with East Asian shapes got us re-thinking how to incorporate these beautiful stories into our designs.

LEATHER TREND

Leather vendors are pumping up the creativity with so many amazing choices from shimmering looks, to silken hair hides. Just take a look and see for yourself the possibilities!

MOOD BOARDS AT DELEO TEXTILES TREND

DeLeo Textiles really helped us out with their mood boards. Check out the fantastic compilations they created from Glamazon to Super naturals. Well done DeLeo!

NOVELTY TREND

We always love unique novelties. Home Accent Fabrics’ lip-themes and artistic renderings in textiles caught our eye.
